SAE Perth is opening its doors this October for Create for a Day, a one-day, hands-on workshop designed to expand your skills and get you working on inspiring creative projects in the fields of Animation, Audio, Design, Film, Games, and Music.
Have a passion for creativity and thinking about turning it into a career? Come and experience life as an SAE student – get behind the scenes and pursue your passion!
On the day, attendees will learn valuable practical and collaborative skills as they work towards building a creative piece of work, which they will take home with them at the end of the day.
They will also receive a certificate of participation to acknowledge the creative project they have undertaken.
Due to the level of workshop content, this event is open to school students in years 10 and above – up to age 21.
Spaces for this event are extremely limited.
All workshop types run at the same time, therefore only one workshop type can be attended by an individual.
Cost: $25 per person (inc GST), includes lunch.
Attendees will arrive before 10 am and spend the day in the classroom in their field of choice.
Lunch will be provided on campus and at the end of the day students will go back home.
No accommodation is provided in the cost of the ticket.

We have a small car park available on site, and limited street parking located near and around the campus. There is currently construction along Roe Street, so please ensure that you factor extra time into your travels to allow for any delays.
Our campus is a 5-10 minute walk away from the train station and the bus port is just across the road.

We recommend bringing along a notebook and pen, a water bottle, a jumper or warm clothing for air-conditioned rooms, and any other personal items that may need. (e.g. medications).
We do cater for Dietary requirements. In case of concern, bring along some extra snacks.

All tickets are non-refundable. Spaces are very limited due to the popularity of these events, and we like to ensure that no one misses out on the opportunity.
If the event is cancelled in unforeseen circumstances, full refunds will be issued to ticket holders.
In this event, the organiser will contact you to process your refund within one week of the event cancellation. Refunds will be processed back to the same card originally used to make the purchase.
